Pricing FAQ
Is there a contract?
No. Mamal is month to month, always. If we stop earning your business, you leave with all of your data — menus, sales history, customers — in standard formats, free.
Do you mark up card processing?
The rate is 2.49% + 15¢ per transaction, flat and published. That single rate is how we keep the software price low — but it’s printed here, not discovered on your first statement. High-volume locations can talk to us about interchange-plus.
What hardware do I need?
Whatever you have. Mamal runs in a modern browser on iPads, Android tablets, laptops, and desktop PCs. Receipt and kitchen printers you already own usually work through our print bridge. We will never make you buy a proprietary terminal.
What does “early access” mean?
We’re building Mamal in the open with a small group of restaurants. Early-access partners use the software free, get a direct line to the team, and shape what gets built next. The pricing on this page is what we plan to charge at general availability.
What about multiple locations?
$49 per location, and that’s it. Menus, reporting, and team settings can be shared across locations from one dashboard.
Is anything on this page aspirational?
The register app and kitchen screens are in active development — early-access partners see them first. Everything else on this page works today. We keep this distinction honest everywhere on the site.
