Legal
Privacy policy
The same policy as the rest of the site: plain English, no surprises.
Last updated: July 9, 2026 · Applies to mamal.shop and the Mamal early-access program.
Who we are
Mamal (“we,” “us”) builds a restaurant platform — point of sale, online ordering, loyalty, and reporting. This policy covers this marketing website and the early-access signup list. Merchants who use the Mamal product itself receive additional terms covering the data inside their account.
What we collect on this site
- Your email address, if you join the early-access list — along with which page you signed up from.
- Basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested), kept for security and debugging.
That’s the list. This site sets no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics cookies.
What we use it for
- To contact you about early access — the thing you signed up for.
- To keep the site running and secure.
What we will never do
- Sell your personal information. To anyone. Ever.
- Share your email with third parties for their marketing.
- Add you to unrelated lists because you asked about early access once.
Where it lives
Signup data is stored on our infrastructure hosted with Amazon Web Services in the United States, and is accessible only to the Mamal team.
Your choices
Want off the list, or want to know what we hold about you? Email us and we’ll handle it — removal requests are honored promptly and completely. Every email we send also includes a way to opt out.
Merchant & guest data in the product
If you’re a restaurant using Mamal, your business data — menus, sales, customers — belongs to you. We use it to run the service for you, not to build side businesses. You can export all of it, any time, free. Payment card data is handled by our PCI-compliant payment partners and never touches Mamal’s servers in raw form.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll say so on this page with a new date up top — not bury it.
